 Should not have bought cartridge from Inkers June 5, 2010

Bought the "refurb" from Inkers. Mistake. Doesn't work at all. Maybe instead of buying lexmark's &*#(@! cartridge, I'll find a printer whose manufacturer doesn't lock out other toner cartridges (if one exists these days...).

I had the same problem as a previous reviewer. After printing about 500 pages, the printer locked up with a region error code. The prints were fine and no 'low toner' indication was given, as had a previous cartridge. The Lexmark tech offered to verify the region code on the cartridge, but seemed like a waste of time as it was obviously North America and was working fine prior to the problem. This feature makes an already expensive cartridge all the more expensive. I will try one more cartridge and if that fails get rid of the printer.

I have been through my fair share of printers... inexpensive ones anyway. And after owning a Brother HL, I switched to the Lexmark E120 because of the price and speed of print jobs. This printer is great for our small office and I have it set up so that all of the faxes my husband receives via his PC spool right to this printer. The printer is fast and the copies are nice and clear. We have had no problems with the printer with the exception of toner cartridges. The last ones I ordered came in sealed plastic bags and when you opened the bags, you had toner EVERYWHERE!! I recommend buying non-refurbished toner cartridges unless you know of a better place to get them than where I got my last ones. I give this printer a 5 star rating because it is inexpensive compared to most laser printers, it is fast, and my husband can use it with no "tech support" from me. Great little printer and we use it alot!
