Yes, the OEM ink is better and the high volume, more expensive cartridge is worth the extra money.

Great value for the price ( ...which is almost always better on Amazon!). As others have noted, this cartridge provides more than double the pages for much less than double the price. I've bought several here and have yet to get a stale one, like are often sold on "that other site". Lexmark does not advertise the #34 will fit some machines but their tech support was kind enough to pass on that intel. Currently using in a Lexmark X3350 and two X2500s without a problem.

Product arrived quickly, in excellent condition and performed as it should. Comparison to other vendors, I got my money's worth at a fair price and the quality was as Lexmark products should be.
