I use only genuine Epson inks for color management reasons, and Amazon has the best price in town for this.

The ink performs perfectly in the Epson 1800 printer. Unfortunatly it doesn't last as long as I would like.

It's how the printer companies really make their money. I cringe that it costs me $120 to replace all of my ink cartridges on my Epson R1800 and I never get as many prints as I think I should. A necessity for sure, there is no way around buying these things, I just wish they were a little cheaper. The quality of the inks are very good though and the prints I get from the R1800 are outstanding.

I don't think this ink requires any comments. It's genuine from Epson, period. It's perfect for the Epson printer it's designed for. I don't have a problem using third-party inks on my cheap everyday printers. But for professional quality jobs on a pretty expensive (at least when we bought it a few years ago) Epson Photo R1800 -- genuine ink is the only way to go.
