I think this 3rd party replacement toner cartridge works great. The quality of the print looks very good, at least as good as the original to my eyes. I only gave it 4 stars, as I have only used this cartridge for a short time, but so far so good. For the price, I highly recommend this over the OEM one, as you can save a bundle.

My experience with refilled toner cartridges had been mediocre, so I've mostly bought new Samsung 1710 cartridges. But when I saw the new ones had gone up to $90 a month ago, I decided to give refilled cartridges another try.
The first cartridge came to my door in the Pasadena CA area before Amazon even sent me a tracking number, but it was temperamental and had to be shaken up frequently to print well. Customer service was good, though, & when I called for a replacement I got it next day without paying additional shipping. The second cartridge has worked flawlessly from the first installation, acting like a brand new factory cartridge.
