Yes, it's printer ink, but it's better than most July 26, 2010 Peter At the very least, be glad they separate the black cartridges out, considering it's gone the quickest. I remember in the olden days when all you had was one ink cartridge, and no matter what if one color ran out you were SOL.
These cartridges are moderately priced in the 3-pack, and you do get a decent number of copies from them. Even after the computer tells me the ink is out, I tend to "continue printing" anyway, as I noticed that it's similar to a car saying "fuel empty," you're not all the way gone, but you're pretty close.
You can't beat OEM either, the generics don't hold up as well, and for some reason they get a little messy. Overall, this is a pretty good buy, considering it's the most frequently replaced.
Wrong Ink July 21, 2010 L. M. Lackey (Prineville, Oregon) I had ordered this replacement ink cartridge package as the description given said it would fit my Canon MX330...It does not, so I had to pay shipping on another order for the right ink, so I am not very happy..
Canon ink cartridges July 15, 2010 R. Miller (Chicago, Il.) What can you say about ink cartridges? The price was right and I ordered some other items so the shipping was free.
Fast Shipping July 4, 2010 nick I ordered these knowing I was running low on ink. They came within just a few days! Incredibly fast shipping. Haven't needed them yet - but they look great!
Very little ink for the price July 2, 2010 K. Heiret (Bothell, WA) This printer runs out of ink faster than any I have ever seen. The quality of the print is very good but I won't buy another Canon because you have to constantly replace the ink. Another problem is that the printer takes forever to get in a print ready state. It's at least a minute or so between the time you tell the computer to print a document and it actually starts to print - and this is with a quad core CPU and 8GB of memory.
